GARMENT CARE

As a modern leather house, ARMA creates the finer classics to last a lifetime. Through modern heritage and quality craftsmanship we deliver wardrobe essentials that transcend trends but are never boring. We encourage you to invest into timeless pieces that can be passed from one generation to the next, because we believe that leather gets better with age.

To ensure your garments last, it’s important to treat them with care. Explore our garment care to ensure they remain a lasting part of your wardrobe.

LEATHER

Our lamb butter pieces are crafted from soft, high-grade lambskin, carefully selected to ensure a comfortable experience for our wearers. Our lamb leather is not only durable but also ideal for everyday wear, thanks to its thick yet breathable nature.

All of our leather garments are natural products. Variations in shading across the hides give each piece its own distinctive character. Individual markings may appear on the skin and should be regarded as natural features rather than defects. Please note that the color of leather may transfer to other materials, particularly lighter shades.

To maintain the quality and longevity of your leather items, always store them hanging to preserve their shape. Use a breathable cotton garment bag—never plastic, as it can trap moisture. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or artificial light may cause discoloration, so it’s best to keep your items away from both. Leather should also be kept away from humidity and heat, and protected from rain and rough surfaces, which can scratch or damage it. Cleaning should be done by a professional leather specialist only. You can also use a garment refresher spray to gently spray the lining of your leather items.

SUEDE

Suede is prominently featured in our collections. Suede is made from the underside of the animal's skin, making it a delicate material that requires special care.

Also our suede garments are natural products. Variations in shading across the hides give each piece its own distinctive character. Individual markings may appear on the skin and should be regarded as natural features rather than defects. Please note that the color of suede may transfer to other materials, particularly lighter shades.

STRETCH LEATHER

We've collaborated with technicans who have perfected the concept of stretch leather. By bonding sheepskin to a blend of cotton canvas and lycra, the leather becomes stretchable. This body-hugging quality feels smooth and moves with you. Additionally, some pieces in this collection are washable when following our washing instructions.

Before and After Washing:
Run an empty cycle to clear detergent residue.

1. Wash Cold & Inside Out
Turn the item inside out, don’t fold, and wash at or below 30°C.

2. Use Short, Delicate Cycle
Select the gentlest, shortest program—preferably wool—with no spin cycle.

3. Use Minimal Liquid Detergent
Add a small amount of soft leather detergent or baby shampoo to the detergent drawer (not the drum).
Please use liquid detergent only, as it dissolves better than powder.

4. Remove Immediately & Dry Flat on a Towel
Remove the item as soon as the cycle ends. Don’t wring, tumble dry, or expose to sunlight or radiator heat. Lay it flat on a towel to dry for 24–48 hours to prevent color transfer.

5. Iron Carefully
Once dry, rub gently by hand to soften. Iron both sides using a cloth between the iron and leather.

Note:
Machine washing may change the leather's look and feel. These items are washable for hygiene only—not appearance. Bright colors may fade. The pants regain shape and suppleness with wear but they aren’t rain-safe. This kind of moisture may damage them.

CASHMERE

Cashmere is perfect for year-round wear. Our pieces are crafted from 100% cashmere. It's lightweight yet retains warmth, and when paired with its natural breathability, it becomes the perfect layering material for any season.

Cashmere items are not machine washable. To clean, gently hand wash in lukewarm water with a mild liquid detergent. Avoid harsh soaps and vigorous scrubbing. Lightly massage the fabric to remove dirt, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Lay the item flat on a drying rack to air dry—do not wring or hang, as this can cause stretching. Alternatively, you can take your cashmere item to a professional dry cleaner.

WOOL

Wool is the ultimate trans-seasonal material. Our pieces are crafted from 100% double-faced wool. It's lightweight yet retains warmth, and when paired with its natural breathability, it becomes the perfect layering material for any season.

Make sure that wool items are clean and do not have food stains or body oils when storing them away, to prevent moths. Always store your wool jackets hanging on a sturdy clothing hanger.

SHEARLING

Like leather, shearling improves beautifully with age. We offer a diverse range of sheepskin qualities, all crafted in our own production facilities. With the utmost attention to detail, we design, craft, and finish each piece to the premium quality our customers trust. The skins we use are carefully selected for their volume and pattern, ensuring we consistently delivery the best quality.

Please always store your shearling items hanging and in cotton garment bag. Before wearing your shearling, we recommend that you treat it with a clear water-repellent spray. Spray it at around 30cm from the jacket on the fabric, and let it airdry after (preferably outside). When sprayed in, shearling can handle rain and snow quite well. If your coat unexpectedly becomes really wet, please shake off the excess water and blot dry with a clean towel.

Airing out your shearling outdoors during warmer months is often enough to restore its fresh feel. Please avoid hanging your shearling in direct sunlight, as it may cause discoloration. Alternatively, you can take your cashmere item to a professional dry cleaner.

CANVAS

Canvas is a strong fabric celebrated for its durability and versatility. Made of 100% cotton, it features a plain weave that gives it a firm texture and excellent resistance to wear. Canvas is valued for its ability to withstand daily use while maintaining shape and integrity. As a natural fiber, cotton canvas is biodegradable and renewable, making it an environmentally conscious choice for long-lasting design.

This garment is dry cleaning only to preserve its quality, structure, and finish over time, as canvas items are not machine washable.

SILK

Silk is a natural fiber known for its luxurious feel and comfort. It’s also durable, naturally antibacterial, and flame-retardant. Our pieces are crafted from 100% silk. Processing silk typically uses minimal water, chemicals, and energy.

To maintain the garment’s quality and appearance over time, it is recommended to dry clean only, as this method best preserves the delicate nature of the fabric.
